There is a lot of different ways to incorporate videos into your courses and below are a few examples, with also a couple of student examples and teacher lessons.
Have students act out a scene from a play (Shakespeare or not), or create a new scene to continue the story or fill in parts left out, or how you would have written it to go and film them - show it as a series later
Claymation/Animation of a piece of literature
Interviews with characters from novels or plays or mock-interview with the author
Create and film a Public Service Announcement (PSA)
Interviews with other members of the community to create connections from past to present
Macro-Theatre or Stop-motion Animation
Film a movie trailer for a novel or play or create a new film based on a piece of personal creative writing
Film a mock-trial based on something that happened in a novel or play
Create a mock-version of a scene from a play (ex: Shakespeare) or a piece of literature or novel and using a digital camera and movie maker, you can create a pretty cool project!
